Just as in Boston over 2 hundred years ago, Californians’ are sick of rising taxes and wasteful government spending. The California Tea Party is an organization whose goal is to expose wasteful spending in Sacramento and help to reclaim the taxpayers hard earned money. This is done by user interaction and discussion on a web forum and news blog.
California Tea Party also encourages taxpayers to get involved with local, county and state government officials to curb wasteful spending to ensure that we the people are getting the most for what we are paying. California tax payers should to contact state representatives so that their voice can be heard and no longer ignored.
Our Core Principles
- Bipartisonaship: While the goal of the California Tea party is to reduce wasteful government spending which is primarily a Conservative Platform we are not a partisan organization. We have one goal and one goal only to enable to taxpayers of California to voice concern over wasteful spending and help to rein in that spending.
- Fairness and Equity: The California Tea Party has a fundamental belief that government should work to improve the lives of the people it serves. In our forums all peoples opinions can be espressed without fear for retaliation and will be heard by others. While we do reserve the right to remove offensive posts and comments from the site.
- Integrity: California Tea Party does it’s best to ensure that information presented in the blog is accurate and complete. But the same is not true for the forum of blog comment posts due to the nature of the open and public discussion. - Empowerment: The number one principle and goal of the California Tea Party is to empower the California Tax payer to fight for change!
