It is amazing! After the long budget fight our legislators are still looking to find ways to increase government. My favored is the proposal that would require sterilization of pet cats that roam. How much further can the government reach into our lives and pocket books? We are faced with another $8B in potential budget short fall and our leaders are looking for ways to make the hole bigger!
I think Jon Coupal of the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association said is best.
“It’s other people’s money and they can dream up every single good cause in the world to justify the further rape of the California taxpayer,”
All Californians are pinching for pennies, it’s time for the government to follow suit.

Here is an idea…Strip the state down to only absolute essentials for functioning and cut ALL taxes in California.Next pass a budget with no special programs or hippy dippy causes being funded, just absolute essentials only to keep California financially solvent. And also make a ‘Too Bad so sad” clause where if a state program runs out of money they dont get one more cent!Let me use this analogy… If you have a child who gets an allowance once a week and say they get it on Friday and by Sunday its gone…do you give them more money? NO! how are they gonna learn financial restraint if they keep blowing their allowance as soon as they get it and cry for more and keep getting it.? This is what California needs…spend right or get nothing.

It’s time for the citizens of Calif to rise up and vote these people out of office.
